When the larger group left it up to individual hotels to decide their own way forward, the Newcastle team knew they wanted to continue using the platform on their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cWe knew we didn\u2019t want to lose it \u2014 it was so good,\u201d says Kelly. \u201cIt\u2019s really easy to use. Everyone refers to it as a bit like Facebook \u2014 but just for the hotel. It\u2019s intuitive, easy to post on, and simple for new staff to pick up quickly.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mo now acts as the hotel\u2019s central hub for team communication, instant recognition and rewards, and even day-to-day operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur ops director posts daily business updates: occupancy, events, VIPs, guest satisfaction scores, and flags any key focus areas based on guest feedback.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf we\u2019re a little low in one area, then he\u2019ll focus his daily briefing on getting all the staff to focus on that area.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not just senior leadership communicating top-down either.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-meta-box-blockquote\">\n\t<blockquote>\n\t\t<div class=\"quote-content\">\n\t\t\t<p><span class=\"q\">\u201c<\/span>Managers use it as their communication tool for their teams, rather than trying to email 15 individual staff. They just put a message on Mo and tag their team in it &#8211; it\u2019s amazing. Even if it\u2019s just a reminder about complaint handling or guest service, it\u2019s that little push that keeps everyone aligned.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognition became more immediate too.
